A dashing young swordswoman from the North, Sinjai Kavalireco has come to The Burning Tower as the personal escort and bodyguard of Duce Iniel Bruin of Kingsgate. Duce Bruin’s business in Esto is clandestine: she travels the world collecting mysterious stones called Dragon Eyes. Sinjai knows little or nothing of this, but she is fascinated by the goings-on at the Burning Tower, and will soon get herself into trouble digging deeper into the intrigue.
