Emaciated sycophant Rota Duckworth Parst serves at the pleasure of the Pontiff. She manages a devout spy network in Chaqun, Maachi, and Lac Viève. But Rota is secretly a double agent of LaForêt, playing the Lionnar family against DuPré and the prelates of the Burning Tower. Her latest exploits include the introduction of Princess Chelsée to the the LaForêts, and she has helped strengthen Cäcilia Miter and the Storm’s Eye in their mission to supplant the Old Flame.
