Night Islands

The jagged peaks of an ancient mountain range jut out of the Seacint between Sierin and Tiris. With more than a thousand islands and hardly a safe harbor among them, the Night Islands are home to a fierce and mysterious pale-skinned tribe known only as the Hundred Men. Though they lack most contemporary technology, the Hundred Men (who actually number in the thousands) are ruthless pirates and raiders, striking out from the islands mostly at night.
No one knows the tribe’s true name or language, or what they call their home. All but the most well-defended merchant ships steer clear of these Islands. No one has taken a Hundred Man alive; when captured they always fight until dead.
