The Steward
Originally a stonemason in the nearby village of Mikoren, the sweet and burly Elan Shefferel quickly earned the approbation of the Tower priests, and with it the honorary surname CœurdeBœuf. He now faithfully serves as Deputy Steward of Mikoren, under the guiding hand of Elike DuPré, though he is sometimes baffled by the ethically gray responsibilities of the office. For example, DuPré’s deputy Jules Farmer has recently enlisted Elan’s aid in driving out a family of “unwanted” refugees from Tiris.
