The Artisan
The daughter of a Verulin chef and a priest of the Fire Hand, the visually striking Dinar Metiistoj is a pariah of Meere. Shipped off to live with an aunt in Weis at the age of seven, she later wandered the Sieran coast in a scratchbuilt outrigger, eventually settling in Baronet as a lampblack’s apprentice at age nineteen. That craftsman, Kiel Mondar, passed off Dinar’s impossibly beautiful work as his own, and he became a highly sought-after commercial artisan. Dinar was content to suffer this for a time. But when tensions rose between them, the twenty-three year old Dinar broke ties with Mondar and found herself destitute on the streets of Baronet. She is now a close friend of the rainmaker Mica CœurdeBœuf.
