Darwyn Chaqun

Brilliant, bespectacled professor Darwyn Chaqun is the eldest daughter of Queen Gale Chaqun Gallaunt Lionnar, twin sister of Stover Gallaunt. She was sent to Niland as a small child to escape the absurdity of Northern politics, and has lived at Larnins University most of her life. She is Fergus Lionnar’s most promising student in the Green Gulley, specializing in the history and techniques of the Durain dragon masters. She is also a collector of stray animals, and runs a tiny pet sanctuary in Niland. She has a telepathic connection to animals (and people as well, though she doesn’t realize it), sharing some of the traits of the ancient dragon masters of Durain, as well as the young Türmont Riĉa.
