Venarra Xiamandas (a.k.a. Vexi)

Vexi (stylized as VeXi), legally known as Venarra Xiamandas, is a singer, songwriter, model, and visual artist. She is known for her extravagant performances that often utilize holographic emitters, her popularization of Glist music, and for her controversial cultural significance in Terra Consortium.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

A thin, pale young woman of somewhat above-average height, with straight, black hair, and a blue gradient tattoo upon her forehead. She is often dressed all in black to contrast the vivid imagery she conjures behind her in performance, as though she were a partial silhouette.

Venarra was born in 3575 IC in Jyemasav, Neo-Tsov Imperium, a city now part of Terra Consortium. After Jyemasav was occupied in 3577, she was separated from her family and was enrolled at the Cydanmeus Rudimentary Academy shortly after, where she was given her current name. In her youth, she was a notorious truant, and dropped out of Basic Pedagogy at age 15. In her early career of musicianship, she was known to have experimented with street drugs, particularly Recall and Dredge, but has paid for a restoration as of 3594 IC. By age 17, her work had begun to garner a unique type of attention; her music began to thrive at the forefront in the underground Glist scene of Cydanmeus, due to her connections with similar artists. However, her use of elements from more mainstream and technical types of music, particularly from the Prodiga genre, made critics who were normally indifferent to Glist music take notice. As a result, her fame and infamy steadily grew, and her music even began to make its way into other communities beyond Terra Consortium.
Venarra took up modelling in 3593 IC. A cultural conundrum took root in this expansion of her career; legally, models are not allowed to be named or have their faces shown in advertisements in Terra Consortium, according to its anti-idolatry laws. However, her musical career brought her special attention, and so her alias, Vexi, was no longer just a dissociative moniker for her musical career, but a brand that could be marketed without technically breaking any laws.
Due to her widespread exposure beyond Terra Consortium and Conclave, her legal name has become associated with her artistic alias, which has become a consequential and indirect infringement of Terra Consortium's anti-idolatry laws. As of 3595 IC, she is currently engaged in a legal battle, and has been barred from leaving Terra Consortium until resolved, causing turmoil among fans and followers. The possibility of her fading into obscurity and being ridden of her name remains present.

Vexi has been considered by some critics to have perverted cultural standards of Terra Consortium for popularizing Glist, a musical/cultural scene heavily associated with street drugs, and for intermingling it with Prodiga and other "art that is genuinely deserving of attention through prowess and skill, not degenerative culture that lacks any standard of talent".
As of 3594 IC, Venarra is considered "branded" by Terra Consortium and Conclave overseers.
Venarra's legal name has been leaked and coincided with her alias, Vexi, causing indirect legal infringement in Terra Consortium law. She is currently prevented from leaving Terra Consortium.
