Dogma

Avidina is a powerful and mysterious goddess revered by those who see magic as a constantly evolving and adaptable force. She is the embodiment of change within the realm of magic, and is often invoked by those who seek to create new spells and discover new ways to use magic.   According to legend, Avidina was once a single goddess alongside her sister Meshina, but the two were split into separate beings during the ancient Progenitor War.   Followers of Avidina see her as a guiding force, always encouraging them to push the boundaries of magic and seek out new ways to harness its power. They believe that magic should be ever-evolving and adaptable, and that Avidina represents the endless possibilities of what magic can achieve.   While Avidina is revered by those who embrace change and innovation, she is also feared by those who prefer tradition and stability. Some view her as a destabilizing force, threatening the established order of magic and leading practitioners down unpredictable and potentially dangerous paths.   Despite this, Avidina remains a popular and influential goddess, inspiring those who seek to constantly evolve and expand the limits of magic.   Beyond her mastery of magic, Avidina is also a goddess of prophecy. And it is said that each path to the future can be found upon her skin. Prophecy under the guidance of Avidina is not an absolute force. It does not speak in the absolutes of fate but in chances and opportunities. More a map within which those with the knowledge to read it can find a path to a desired future than a single path set in stone.

Clergy and Temples

Avidina's clergy is made up of mages and other practitioners of magic who are devoted to the goddess and her teachings. These priests and priestesses often come from a variety of magical traditions, and they value adaptability and innovation above all else. Temples dedicated to Avidina are often elaborate and intricate structures, filled with magical runes and symbols that are believed to amplify the goddess's power. These temples are often located in cities or other urban centers, where they can be easily accessed by those seeking the goddess's guidance and protection.   Inside Avidina's temples, her clergy can often be found performing elaborate magical rituals, studying ancient prophecies, and seeking new ways to harness and shape the power of magic. These rituals often involve the use of complex spells and incantations, and are often accompanied by chanting and other forms of devotional music.   Avidina's temples also serve as centers of learning, where those seeking to deepen their understanding of magic can come to study and learn from the goddess's clergy. These temples are often open to all who seek knowledge, regardless of their magical abilities or level of skill.   Avidina's clergy and temples are dedicated to the goddess's teachings of adaptability and innovation, and they serve as a beacon of hope and guidance for those who seek to push the boundaries of magic and discover its full potential.
