The Precursors. Every Earth has one. Its emergence is a signal to the cosmos that the Earth is ready for the next age.

The last survivor of a dying planet is sent to Earth as an infant. Raised in small-town America, he becomes a shining beacon of truth, hope and justice. A young man is taken by the military during World War II and turned into the ultimate soldier. His unwavering moral compass and dedication to the cause of right make him a hero and legend for decades to come.

Soon after, a genius, with incredible financial resources, will suffer a personal tragedy and take up the mantle of hero in a mission of redemption.

A pantheon of gods from the ancient world will arrive, their aeons old battle spilling over into the wortal realm. A young royal, with godlike power, will align themselves with mankind's hero's in defence of the Earth.

Before long, the rate of "accidental" exposure to radiation and industrial accidents spike, prompting a wave of heroes, villains and monsters across the globe.

Others reach their potential through skill, training, or purposefully applied science: The Archer, the Cyborg, the Acrobat, the Brawler, the Insect and the Giant.

A lost kingdom from below the waves will reluctantly re-join the surface world, its monarch occasionally at odds with humanity.

Artificial intelligence will spawn the android heroes and their counterparts, the robotic villains.

From space, Earth will seem as a beacon to the stars. Alien species and technology will find its way to Earth, to a brave, but reckless, test pilot. A new hero is born, not just for Earth, but for all worlds.

The influx of technological advancement sparks a wave of sorcery and magic, as a counterbalance. Amidst the witches, warlocks, and spellcraft, a scientist is merged with the very essence of nature and walks as a human-plant hybrid.

However... before all this can happen, sparked by the precursor arrival, the world must endure older trails.
