Margo Hayward
Margo Hayward is a scientist in Westgate. Her primary area of interest is magical creatures, and she uses her combination of scientific know-how and magic to dissect, study, and research them in her lab. She is not picky about the type of creature, and captures sentient and non-sentient creatures, plants, and humanoids for study.
Margo's lab is a converted vampire lair in Westgate's underground. She has two assistants that aid her in the "care" of her subjects. Because of the sensitive nature of her work, her lair is heavily warded and trapped.
The party encountered Margo in Westgate, and left her alive after rescuing Yeshana's father. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Margo is a halfling with a curly bob of brown hair, streaked with grey. She dresses very well, and is extremely friendly and boisterous when she visits Westgate proper.

Personal history
Margo always had a knack for the sciences, combining her magical training with rigorous study and mechanical engineering to create magical items. Her fascination with humanoid-animal hybrids came after seeing how druids and lycanthropes shift while studying magic at Hosttower in Luskan. She became obsessed, ignoring her family for her studies. When she started taking more extreme measures for her research, her husband left her in Luskan and took their son with him. She didn't seem to mind, and continued her studies as normal.
Margo heard of a lost druid journal in the Hosttower library that supposedly taught the reader how to shift into animal forms of their own creation. Fascinated, she moved to the city of Westgate to pursue this opportunity. While following up with leads in the Dalelands, she came across Helio Duskrose stuck in his animal form. Realizing that he must have found the secrets of the journal, she captured him and has been holding him in her lair in Westgate. Unlike her other subjects, Margo likes Helio as a person, and when he transform back to his fairy form on the full moon she takes him out to the city for an evening of fun (whether Helio wants to go or not). Her assistants, Alie and Eelco, are not sure if Margo has a crush on Helio or is simply lonely for companionship with someone her age.
