The Reign of King Haras

• Coronated at age 23   • King Haras’ rule was defined by two things: First, he just wasn’t a very good or capable ruler. Second, the Nilroggi almost destroyed the Kingdom.   • This was the time of the Third Incursion (117-120 AC), and it pushed the Kingdom to its breaking point. There were several points during the Third Incursion that the Kingdom was almost erased from history and at every turn, King Haras seemed incapable of doing anything about it. If not for a handful of independent-minded Dukes and military commanders, we may not even have a Kingdom today, although historians only discovered later how bad King Haras’ rule actually was.   • King Haras somehow guided the nation through the crisis (barely) and died a broken man not long after, at the age of 54, having ruled for 31 troubled years.
