The First Incursion

  During the course of this brief war, it was seen as an existential threat by the inhabitants of the Kingdom. In hindsight, it was little more than a series of loosely connected sharp skirmishes that never developed into full blown, tooth-and-nail warfare.   Even so, it was a serious test of the new Kingdom's capabilities. Fortunately, King Perrin and his Black Watch, commanded by the Fury Family, proved more than up to the task. After just two years of skirmishing, the Nilroggi retreated back into their underground lairs.
