The Free Folk
The Free Folk
The Free-Folk are somewhat darkly skinned and tend to have dark hair and eyes. They are gypsy folk. Although their home is the semi-independent province of Trentare, Free Folk can be found in every corner of the Basin.
While they can be of any class, their Bordermen and Bards are legendary. They tend to be flamboyant and charming.
All Free Folk characters gain a +1 bonus to Dexterity and a +1 bonus to Charisma. The Free Folk tend to be regarded with some suspicion as their People have a well-known tendency toward thievery and tend to regard laws and local customs as being optional, but they are at least grudgingly admired in most quarters.

Gypsy Wiles. All Free Folk characters gain a spell-like ability that is the functional equivalent of the Friends spell. You may use it a number of times per day equal to your Proficiency Modifier. You gain these uses back when you complete a Long Rest. "Spell Save DC" for this effect is equal to your Charisma. People of Song and Dance. All Gypsy folk are considered to have Mastery in one of the following: Song (Performance), Dance (Performance), or the musical instrument of your choice.
