Session 3: Welcome to Gamma Shift Report
General Summary
All four players! Guy and Velik share quarters as junior officers, while Kalos and Moga have their own as lieutenants.
They're partway through the shift when Commander Rekha Sirasikar asks them to find something belonging to the captain. It's clearly hazing.
They search around while completing their duties (successfully, and their superior officers are happy with them). Guy Fleegman befriends Ruby Baldev over shared knowledge of warp field theory.
Encountered Otma, Trask, and Demonkos. Demonkos is a bit intimidated by Velik.
There's something emitting from the warp core that's a little odd. Not dangerous but it's there. An odd effect that Ruby is tracking as a side project.
Took a copy of Sirasikar's research on the Etangen Ore but have absolutely no connections where it came from and did not look fully into it. Also heard a little about the "gravitational anomaly" that the ship hit which caused a number of the problems around the ship, but did not ask further. (and all this is fine because it was unrelated.
Found the captain's copy of some Cardassian poetry. Some suspicion so I just told them about the connection to the aid mission with Suthmeer.
Velik, Guy, and Kalos all used their Determination this mission.
