Ketinitet

The Ketinitet are a specific group of Gatrelix who specifically live at the edge of an asteroid field, and are notable for being the members of their species to live the furthest from home.
They're the closest that a Gatrelix would get to being a pacifist. These guys don't think so much that the world needs peace as the best way for them personally as a group to avoid trouble is to just leave. They are not unwilling to fight so much as they have simply devoted their entire culture to avoiding battle wherever possible.
Hence the asteroid field. They live at the edge, with the common knowledge that if they are pressed that they will simply flee into the field that they know quite well and will vanish.
They took a number of artifacts similar to The Artifact with them when they left, and this is probably my adventure hook that now this thing has been revealed as dangerous that they're looking a lot closer at this stuff and thinking "maybe we should get a handle on it." Might be fun for me to run my own kind of internal campaign with a few notable NPCs and run a few rolls to develop them in my head and see how they're doing and where they're at before someone calls Starfleet.
They are categorically outsiders in the Gatrelix culture. Not exactly a warrior culture, but they don't shy away from a fight so that these guys go to such lengths to avoid it is downright weird. They are generally looked down on, but less so when they stick to the asteroid field. They're useful, basically. One of those things where people are probably trying not to look down on them, but they come across as a bunch of hicks and people aren't perfect.
