Nelfira is a Performer in Master Tarivol's Festival of Illusions and Wonders. She is known for her acrobatic performances, either with her fellow performer Edna Lafarsia or alone.

Nelfira is often seen wearing a metal collar with a charm enchantment inscribed on it.
Originally the collar was part of Collar & Shackles of Supression that slavers that captured her when raiding her home town, put on her. After her rescue by Thenur Tarivol, he and Osor Drachenbach heavily modified it, so that only she herself or anyone who had gotten her consent would be able to operate it. Furthermore, the charm effect placed on the collar was also changed to one, that would give a subtle boost in self-confidence and that would calm her nerves, if she chooses to do so.

Personal history
Nelfira was born just north of Cussai into small village of Gempor , directly on the coast of the Sea of Storms. As the village was mostly inhabited by outsiders, that weren't born in Crelor, their presence was tolerated, but neither encouraged nor were they under the protection of the Ermam of Crelor.
This was exploited in the year 3797, when a gang of slavers, close to the Bloodbringers, raided the village and kidnapped a sizable proportion of the inhabitants, including Nelfira.
She spent the next 4 years as a slave, before being freed by the mage Thenur Tarivol.
After that she decided to travel with him and help wherever she could, initially out of an urge to repay him, but eventually because she enjoyed the company of misfits and outsiders that Tarivol kept around him.
As part of the carnival, known as Master Tarivol's Festival of Illusions and Wonders, she spends most of the year traveling the continent, while living in Hildur during the winter months.
