Iron Bludgeon

Headquartered in a far district of the city of Zarrath known as the Shallows, the Iron Bludgeon is one of the more influential gangs that run an area of the district.

Structure

The gang boss, currently Stac Balderk, leads with four lieutenants that take care of ordering the rest of the thugs around. A few people influential to the gang's operations, specifically "alchemists" are outside the normal hierarchy.

Stac Balderk

The boss of the Iron Bludgeon is a stocky dwarven man with a large braided mustache and no beard. He has led the Iron Bludgeon for several years and filled its upper ranks with loyal brutes, many of which are from the pit fights he hosts monthly. He has brought the gang from a group of minor thugs and brigands to an established gang of drug-dealers, thugs and brigands.

Lieutenants

  • Bhazin Barika. Human man, NE Brawler. Bhazin was a forced into military service by a judgement for crimes he committed when he was young. Since he left the service, he has returned to his life of crime following winning an underground pit fighting tournament held by some of the gang leaders of Zarrath. He's worked his way to become the second in command to Stac.
  • Riekhie. Raeikyn F, NE Brute. A zealous cultist of the resurging draconic religion, Riekhie worships Tiamat and Kulminen with passion. Her specific part in the gang revolves around thugery and fighting.
  • Plenty (Sarseis). Tiefling F, CE Witch. Plenty is a sickly looking, emaciated tiefling that worships some dark fiendish power. Such power has been beneficial for the gang at times and has earned her a place among the top brass that is feared more than respected.

Alchemists

  • Dhash-liyo. Triton M, NE Alchemist. The shrewd alchemist of the gang holds the suffix of an Atollan castaway. He is the most recent member of the gang, desiring to both prove his significant expertise as an alchemist and scientist, and to use the very loose regulations to continue research he failed to complete in his homeland.

Other

  • Lulir. Dwarf M, ?? Wizard. The adoptive son of Stac, Lulir has been funded generously through years of training at the Arcane Academy in Zarrath. The naïve young dwarf now returns to his criminal father who has revealed his expectations to him and is in need of his magic for a return to a brief but lucrative venture that the young dwarf has started to have reservations about.

Culture

The Bludgeon has become a part of being in their region of the Shallows, a low-income part of the city with little guard acknowledgement. The citizens try to steer clear of them in most cases as to not arouse suspicion or anger from the thugs. Some go to work for them because it's the best coin they can get.

Public Agenda

Gold. It's a simple motivation and is echoed by so many other organizations in the city, but the Bludgeon doesn't care about the price others might pay for their payday.
