Weapon (Sickle), Legendary (Requires Attunement by Cleric, Sorcerer, or Wizard “touched by Death”)
  Equilibrium acts as an arcane and divine focus for the purpose of casting spells.
  While attuned, the wielder has proficiency with sickles.
  The sickle has 8 charges and recovers 1d4+1 charges each day at midnight.
You can expend charges to cast the following spells without material components:
Sanctuary (1 charge), Mind Spike (2 charges), Speak with Dead (3 charges), Compelling Fate (3 charges).
  When you hit an undead creature with this magic weapon, that creature takes an additional 2d6 radiant damage.
 

Awakened

Equalibrium’s charges grow to 12 max with a recharge of 1d6+2.
The following spells are added to the list that the weapon can be used to cast: Blight (4 charges), Dispel Evil and Good (5 charges)
  Additional damage vs Undead grows to 3d6 radiant and you gain a +1 melee attack and damage bonus vs Undead.
 

Exalted

Equilibrium’s charges grow to 16 max with a recharge of 1d8+3.
  The following spells are added to the list that the weapon can be used to cast: Circle of Death (6 charges), Divine Word (7 charges)
  Additional damage vs Undead grows to 4d6 radiant and the melee attack bonus vs Undead grows to +2.
  While holding the staff, you gain +1 bonus to spell attack rolls, and your spell DC.

Significance

Scythe made from the purified pieces of Lifecutter, staff of Nerrul, the mortal turned god of the dead and death.   Lifecutter was the staff of Nerrul, god of the dead, death and undeath, made from the corrupted remnants of Death, primeval god of balance.
