Gnome

Sporadic and exuberant, a gnome's mind is always at work. Even the most focused gnome appears to have at least 3 projects spinning through their mind at once. They will often pause in the middle of a conversation to scribble down a note of inspiration. Gnomes are a naturally peaceful race, and though they are experts in all kinds of machines - including those of war - they are also artificers of peace. The hill gnomes occasionally act as liasons between the mountain dwarves and the rest of the world, as the forest gnomes do for the high elves. If either race is out on official business, they will often have a gnome with them to keep notes and perform simple emotional translations. Gnomes have naturally high emotional intelligence and magical aptitude.
