Thanos Killinsprie

Thanos Killinsprie

Thanos Killinsprie is a permanently insane Investigator.   In January of 1999, Thanos purchased an authentic Celtic war hammer over the World Wide Web and habitually carried this hammer around with him. Later that month, Thanos, Gideon Galore, and a few other companions, including two police officers, unknowingly released a monstrous golem from a house in Boston where it had been magically sealed. This experience so traumatized Thanos that he immediately committed suicide by cop, forcing his officer companions to shoot him.   Thanos' Player is Paul.

Thanos Background

Thanos Killinsprie is 30 years of age, Born in New York, and lived in his parent's basement, or crashed with fellow geeks from time to time when a late night raid called for such. Thanos legally renamed himself a few years ago after his favorite marvel character which further reflects his eccentric nature. His weekly routine of nerdery is as follows:   Sunday- Magic the Gathering (MTG) from 3 to 10 Monday- Old knight lessons (horses included!) 8 am to 3 pm (D&D at night) Tuesday- New comics in the morning! 7 pm till whenever D&D (2 games at once) Wednesday- sleep, shop with mom. Thursday- dry cleaners at 8am and other games (sim city, age of empires, etc.) (D&D at night) Friday- Card/board games all morning. MTG at night. Saturday- chill day   Mr. Killinsprie possessed several comic books published by a small organization dubbed "The Art of Investigation." As he read these books they opened his mind to more vivid dreams than he could ever recall experiencing before. He befriended some dream cats and took strolls through beautiful landscapes reminiscent of his comics.   To further his eccentric collection, he purchased an authentic Celtic war hammer through the internet which had strange runes.   Thanos' trouble with the cult began when he started beta testing a new boardgame with some friends of his in the gaming community. Through this game he met officer Mercer and investigator Morgan Freeman Brown. After playing this somewhat poorly made game, Thanos began to experience horrific nightmares. He attempted to help his newfound party members by accompanying them to "The Art of Investigation" in Boston due to someone else's strange idea. Over time more strange events continued to surface around Thanos, including:
a man with a trench coat with a hat on (smokes cigar or pipe), who knocked over the potted plant near his house, and sped off in a jalopy car.
Officer dales tells him about George and Marissa miller (people who were trailing Thanos).
Inhabitants of the house in Boston were known as Gideon and Diana, Dave, Christian.
Unfortunately, Thanos' party had a falling out and he tried to assist Mercer while stowing Mr. Brown at a coke addict's apartment in Manhattan. While at the apartment Thanos tried one last time to involve people in playing The Nightland's game, but was unsuccesful in finishing very many levels. His nightmares continued and Thanos decided it was time to investigate what lie in the basement of the Boston home. He traveled there with some police officers and two other party members. When they opened the door in the basement, rock monsters flooded out driving Thanos temporarily insane and leading him to commit suicide by cop, the two very cops whom Thanos recruited to join his mission.   On death's doorstep, Mr. Killinsprie tried to reach out to his dream reality to live on in lucid fantasy memories. It seemed as though it would be bliss for eternity when suddenly he was transported to a dark dank dungeon landscape with branching corridors. He would instead be tormented by his Nightland nightmares, forever running from frog monsters into endless darkness and eventual madness. Once captured he was taken to Froggy and made a servant of this ghoulish fiend.   This seemed to be the end of Thanos Killinspree until one day he found himself in a cave, hearing the sounds of waves crashing on a beach. He could only feel his purpose though, a purpose of chaotic fun...
