Kalish-var

Eminence of lightning

Kalish-var, a Warforged, continually upgraded himself by infusing new cores, growing more powerful with each refinement. Over time, he crafted the perfect core, one capable of replacing the very gears Aevitas created, a core of lightning. Through this new core, Kalish-var gained control over lightning, bending it to his will. He compiled his newfound knowledge into the first encyclopedia of lightning spells, including newly created spell scrolls. This mastery of lightning and the power it granted him earned Kalish-var the right to become a patron, one worthy of the title Archmage.

Flashing strike:
When you cast a damaging spell, lightning will surround you as you focus the power, it launches towards the target of your attack and will damage all targets affected by the spell for 1d8 lightning damage.

Kalish-var is focused solely on his own goals, and you are a tool he will use to further his evolution. As such, he is likely to ask you to gather specific materials or seek out talented craftsmen to aid in his endeavors.
