Harengon

History of the Harengons

Harengons are commonly seen around the more civilized parts of the tribes of lavita, bouncing around the sea of people and wandering through the forest without care, the Harengon is commonly seen as a symbol of fortune and freedom by the tribes and is a well-respected race within the feywild as well.

Harengon Features

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity is increased by 2 and your wisdom is increased by 1
Age. Harengons reach maturity at around 12 years of age and tend to live no longer than 150 years.
Size. Harengons are between 4 and 5 feet tall and weigh between 100 and 140 pounds. Your size is medium.
Speed. Your walking speed is 30 feet.
Hare-Trigger. You add your proficiency bonus to your initiative rolls.
Leporine Senses. You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
Lucky Footwork. When you fail a Dexterity saving throw, you can use your reaction to roll a d4 and add it to the result, potentially turning the failure into a success.
Rabbit Hop. Once during each of your turns when you walk at least 5 feet, you can hop, rolling a d12 and moving that many feet in a direction of your choice. This extra distance doesn’t cost movement, but you can hop only if your speed isn’t 0.
