Gigantes

Gigantes were the first children of the Titans of old. They once ruled the surface of Calernia and enslaved smaller folk to build their cities. Over thousands of years, the race of Gigantes has declined, and now they live in ruins of their once great society, keeping to a small corner of Calernia. Gigantes are natural sorcerers, and their artifacts are highly prized by other nations, requiring little upkeep. Study of these artifacts, and of the magic of the Gigantes themselves, spawned the Ligurgian Theory of Magic.
