Fosling

The captial city of Blei Frein, and the seat of power for the King of the entire country who calls himself the King of Fosling. The city is located near the centre of the the country at the beginning of the river Musstead and the meeting of many major trade roads, sometimes known as the Kingroads.   The jewel of Fosling is the King's Palace, located on the heighest tier of the city, towering over all those in the lower tiers. Bridges and gates lead out of the Royal Tier so that nobles and important guests of the King can avoid the hubbub and teeming masses of the lower tiers.   Rumour is that Fosling is planning on making this year's Midsummer festival the biggest one yet.

History of Fosling

Tyranny of the Red Dragon

For 109 years (starting the in year 262) Fosling was ruled with an iron fist by The Red Dragon, a mysterious figure that there is still very little information about. In fact there is very little information about this time period at all, many scholars assume this was related to the regular executions of Foslings citizens.

Assassination of Queen Vivous

In the year 262 the good Queen Vivous was assassinated 20 years into a just rule, and replaced by The Red Dragon. All accounts of Queen Vivous describe her as competent and fair. Under her rule Fosling grew 10 times larger and more prosperous than under the previous ruler.
