Ollfest
As reliable information as to the so-called ‘Voidspawn’ abhumans cannot be reliably acquired, we must conclude on the Ollfest. These scarcely resemble their Lesser Albia and Ind ancestory with their grey and gnarled flesh that is said to be as durable as simple iron over a frame of strong flesh which is at odds with their unimpressive height. Their manes are a course black that can gravitate towards auburn or pitch depending on the population being discussed. Most interesting is their eyes which are always some dark hue whether it be hazel, blue or green, the shade is always profoundly dark as to near black. While they are naturally a strong people, they are also somewhat suited towards acts of delicacy due to rather acute vision and a naturally ambidextrous gift for fine motor function. A near-perfect memory and a fondness for routine has often resulted in some of the finest smiths and physicians on Hollow being of the stock of Ollfest. These traits might suggest a relative inhumanity to this humble scholar, but I have been assured that this is an undue concern.
Uniquely, Ollfest do not form a majority anywhere on Hollow, being social by nature but not especially inclined to seek out their own kind. It is therefore difficult to surmise a great deal with regards to their culture as theirs is often that of their local group. It is instead useful to consider that they seem to both breed true as a rule of thumb, seeming to overwrite the gene-code of the other parent but that this is weighed against a near universal fixation on bearing a single child which results in a seemingly static population.
Ollfest are rarely found among the Guilds and less so among the Astartes but those that do seem to veer towards specialized roles in the Legion according to the records I have been granted access to.
