Maithe
Rare in number and generally known for no small amount of distrust for outsiders, the Maith are among the most mysterious of the peoples of Hollow, second only to the so-called Voidspawn. Tracing decent to the groupings of the Dragon Nations and Midafrik Oligarchies but resemble them in nothing save for the latter's dusky complexions. They are slight and gaunt as a matter of course but are still fair in an odd way when they can be persuaded away from their dour dispositions. Their manes are iridescent copper lined bangs of viridians that match their large eyes, although hazel can occur which is considered auspicious. Maith are known to not grow past a hundred and fifty centimeters in height which gives them the appearance of youth long into their lives, an effect enhanced by their tautness of skin which does not seem to change with age. These traits, along with an inborn grace, makes Maith enviable scouts and adept climbers.
Maith are only found in the largest continents of Hollow, these being Anw'wn and Affara, but they are known to dislike interacting with save for their own kin-group, a view that extends even to other families. This isolationist tendency often leads to an astounding variety of rumors and legends about their behaviour in most states where they are found even with the relative increase in exterior contact which has arisen since Compliance. What I have been able to surmise is that they are renowned huntsmen, trackers and mercenaries with it being commonly expressed that they find little difference between jungle, mountain and city. This has lead to some viewing Maith as unlucky and untrustworthy, which is unsurprisingly reciprocated. Employ beyond a region of worth is seen as a mix of an action of youth and a selfless action undertaken to for the betterment of kin at the expense of self-tainting.
Ruby is said to be the only guild to boast Maithe in any significant number but to my understanding the general status of Seekers across Calengwag makes the profession neither unusual nor especially problematic as it grants a greater degree of tolerance for Maithe.
