The Sacred Hearth

The largest and most popular inn in all the Greenlands. A mile into the borders of the Greenlands, this two story structure stands. It is crafted from stone and nestled into the side of a hill, almost hidden by the roof of earthen soil that continues to grow wild heather and sweet grass. The lovingly handcrafted sign out front simply adorned with the painting of a fireplace topped with a radiant crown welcomes travelers into its comforts. The inside, accessed through a large, round door, is rich with the smell of sweet meats and pleasant spices, and there is always a warm fire burning in the large fireplace that dominates the west wall. Tables and booths are hidden around every corner, each place to sit upholstered and soft. The upstairs is two stories of well kept bed chambers available for rent. They are always clean and each room is private and the thick walls keep the noise to an almost inaudible level. The establishment has been owned and operated by Laur and Brigit Malkovi for forty years and is one of the most popular places in the Greenlands.
