The Ruins of Veddashire
This city is approximately fifteen miles West of Amberhearth. The massacre that happened here took place at the apex of the insanity that initially gripped the Gauldowhynna. The denizens of this city were rounded up in the town center like animals and killed like cattle. The bodies were all brought back to the tree to feed the roots. The remains of the city are remarkably well preserved, though few dare breach the city limits. Specters of the angry dead roam here and prey on the living. The elves themselves avoid this place because to enter it means death. There are rumors that the queen's Well of Whispers has a direct pipeline to this location and she listens to the spirits cries at night while she sleeps.
