Criminal

The Criminal element is a mainstay in every civilization ever put down since someone first coveted their neighbors wealth and decided to take it for themselves by whatever means necessary. Modern Cairne is no different, in fact, the Criminal's of Cairne have thrived a great deal since the Blight, using the the lack of cohesion to make the best of a terrible situation and make their own lives better in the process. While not all Criminals are evil, there is a taint of deviousness in all of them, the spirit that allows them to do what they do and be who they are regardless of the motive that drives them. Despite this, they are a powerful addition to any group, offering a wide array of martial and social skills that can make navigating the cultural climates of Cairne, or the darkened depths of the old world safer and easier for those that gain their trust or bring them under their employment. While trust is always an issue, it never hurts to have a friend that knows the shadows making sure nothing in them has marked you.
