Black Vale
Black Vale was at one time a major industrial center of the original Bechtlarite Empire, but the entire city was consumed by fire while a huge battle raged along its streets during the War of Human Attrition. What remains is a hust of smoldering ruins covered in ash and dust. The mines that dot the area that once made the place so profitable ignited in several fires deep underground that continue to burn to present day. Between the numerous stories of hauntings and strange creatures that are rumored to hide among the remains of the once great city, the air itself is filled with toxic fumes and dangerous to breathe for too long. The entire site has been deemed unsafe and off limits, though it is seldom enforced.
