The Shimmering Creed

The Shimmering Creed, or the Rahkneti Faith, is the prevailing religion in Aladesh, south of the Colossal Mountains. Its gods and tenets are closely intertwined with Kadeshi society, with priests serving as teachers in the schools of the Shimmering Empire. It is said that the Pharaohs of the coastal kingdoms are the direct descendants of the gods.

Pantheon

The religion of Rahknet contains hundreds of gods, which preside over every aspect of mortal lives, as well as the natural world. However, the main deities are the following:

Re-Horak

The creator god, from which all gods originate from. Rek was also the first Pharaoh of Hakenaten, a mythical kingdom that once encompassed the entire universe. Rek eventually split the world between his many children's dynasties, only a few of which remain in power today.

The goddess of nature and war, Baat takes on the form of a gigantic cat. She is also seen as a goddess of luck and protection, who brings justice and vengeance to those who are evil.

Goddess of fertility and magic. Appears as a majestic winged woman.
