The Dwarven populations is roughly 1/100th of the human. 1-per-100, Dwarf-per-Human. Pre-Ruining, 1/50th of human, 2-per-100, Dwarf-per-Human. Has 1-5 offspring, compared to human 1-8, roughly half. Due to conservative sex customs, many Dwarves do not have sex as often as humans do, and such they are a much smaller population than pure capability of bearing offspring would have one believe.

Karak Drazh/Karak Azgaraz



Special Abilities: A Drazhi/Azgaraz dwarf starts with one rank in either Discipline, Melee (Light), Melee (Heavy) or Resilience during character creation. They obtain these ranks before spending experience points, and may not increase this skill above rank 2 during character creation.
Dark Vision: When making skill checks, Drazhi/Azgarazi Dwarves remove up to 2 Setback dice imposed due to darkness.
Grudge/Tough as Nails: A Drazhi/Azgarazi Dwarf may choose between "Grudge" or "Tough as Nails". This must be chosen at character creation.
  • Grudge: A Drazhi/Azgarazi dwarf gains b to all Melee and Ranged checks against Reachmen and Ara Pyrans. Additionally a Drazhi/Azgarazi dwarf gains a b against any target that has wounded him. These bonuses lasts until the end of the encounter.
  • Tough as Nails: A Drazhi/Azgarazi Dwarf may once per session, a Drazhi/Azgaraz Dwarf may spend a Story Point as an out-of-turn incidental immediately after suffering a Critical Injury and determining the result. If they do so, they count the result rolled as “01.”
 

Karak Brynduraz/Barak Varr



Special Abilities: A Bryndurazi/Barak Varri dwarf starts with one rank in either Charm, Discipline or Resilience during character creation. They obtain these ranks before spending experience points, and may not increase this skill above rank 2 during character creation.
Dark Vision: When making skill checks, Bryndurazi/Barak Varri Dwarves remove up to 2 Setback dice imposed due to darkness.
Grudge/Tough as Nails: A Barak Varri Dwarf may choose between "Grudge" or "Tough as Nails". This must be chosen at character creation.
  • Grudge: A Bryndurazi/Barak Varri dwarf gains b to all Melee and Ranged checks against Telosians and Balishvoki. Additionally a Bryndurazi/Barak Varri gains a b against any target that has wounded him. These bonuses lasts until the end of the encounter.
  • Tough as Nails: A Bryndurazi/Barak Varri Dwarf may once per session, a Bryndurazi/Barak Varri Dwarf may spend a Story Point as an out-of-turn incidental immediately after suffering a Critical Injury and determining the result. If they do so, they count the result rolled as “01.”
 

Karak Galbaraz/Zhufbar



Special Abilities: A Galbarazi/Zhufbari dwarf starts with one rank in either Charm, Discipline or Resilience during character creation. They obtain these ranks before spending experience points, and may not increase this skill above rank 2 during character creation.
Dark Vision: When making skill checks, Galbarazi/Zhufbari Dwarves remove up to 2 Setback dice imposed due to darkness.
Grudge/Tough as Nails: An Azgarazi Dwarf may choose between "Grudge" or "Tough as Nails". This must be chosen at character creation.
  • Grudge:A Galbarazi/Zhufbari dwarf gains b to all Melee and Ranged checks against Zachodnians, Aukstlanders, and Norse. Additionally a Galbarazi/Zhufbari gains a b against any target that has wounded him. These bonuses lasts until the end of the encounter.
  • Tough as Nails:A Galbarazi/Zhufbari Dwarf may once per session, a Galbarazi/Zhufbari Dwarf may spend a Story Point as an out-of-turn incidental immediately after suffering a Critical Injury and determining the result. If they do so, they count the result rolled as “01.”
 

Karak-a-Karak/Karak Azgul



Special Abilities: A Karak-a-Karaki/Azguli dwarf starts with one rank in Resilience during character creation. They obtain these ranks before spending experience points, and may not increase Resilience during character creation.
Dark Vision: When making skill checks, Karak-a-Karaki/Azguli Dwarves remove up to 2 Setback dice imposed due to darkness.
Eternal Grudge, Proud and Strong/Tough as Nails: A Karak-a-Karaki/Azguli Dwarf may choose between "Eternal Grudge, Proud and Strong" or "Tough as Nails". This must be chosen at character creation.
  • Eternal Grudge, Proud and Strong:A Karak-a-Karaki/Azguli dwarf gains b to all Melee and Ranged checks against Imperial, Riverlander, Norse, Chaos/Cosmic, and Varl. Additionally a Karak-a-Karaki/Azguli dwarf gains a b against any target that has wounded him. These bonuses lasts until the end of the encounter. Furthermore, a Karak-a-Karaki/Azguli dwarf ignores the first 2 points of strain suffered each session.
  • Tough as Nails:A Karak-a-Karaki/Azguli Dwarf may once per session, a Karak-a-Karaki/Azguli Dwarf may spend a Story Point as an out-of-turn incidental immediately after suffering a Critical Injury and determining the result. If they do so, they count the result rolled as “01.”
