CAENAR

Caenar is a broken, dying world ravaged by a sequence of apocalyptic events and littered with the ruins and remnants of bygone eras. It is the primary setting for the Ascension War, a dark fantasy with cyberpunk, biopunk and cosmic horror elements.

Caenar exists beyond our world in another reality, one where magic is intrinsically part of all thing. It is also connected to many other worlds via a network spanning space and time, and Earth is part of that network.

It is home to numerous distinct intelligent species, including humans and others inspired by standard fantasy tropes along with what I hope are more unique creations.

At the heart of Caenar is Bel'Zanar, a towering vertical city that is ruled at present by the Mesitori Emperor; a cruel tyrant whose tendrils reach out across Caenar and beyond, even to Earth, and his influence is growing stronger.

 

Caenar serves as the heart of the Otherverse, the shared universe that my stories take place in.
