Overview

The Wander-kin are loosely connected tribes and families who travel the valleys, hills, and groves of Tarnith. They act as foragers, spirit-guides, storytellers, and scouts. Unlike the deeply ritualistic Druids of the Veil, the Wander-kin are pragmatic mystics—less bound by ancient oaths, but just as respectful of the land.   During major celestial events, the Wander-kin converge with the Druids to celebrate and assist with rites. At other times, they live off the land, maintain forgotten paths, and share knowledge through song and fable.

Appearance & Traits

Often clad in patchwork cloaks, herbal belts, and scarves marked with seasonal patterns. Their charms are made from animal bone, root carvings, or woven reed sigils.

Beliefs and Traditions

They believe stories and memories shape reality. Oral history is sacred, and tribal elders memorize hundreds of songs, myths, and spirit-paths. Every grove, stream, or glen has a name and a tale.

Roles in the World

  • Foragers and animal guides
  • Pathkeepers between sacred sites
  • Seasonal festival hosts
  • Oral historians and keepers of old songs
  • Relations with Others

They follow the spiritual authority of the Druids of the Veil, but keep their independence.
They regard the Archbound with awe and slight fear, rarely approaching the Eternal Arch alone.
Visitors who respect nature are welcomed—those who don’t may be misled by illusion and song.
