Corrupted Aspect

Infernal Fire—unrelenting, destructive flames fueled by forbidden knowledge and infernal pacts.   Ignaraxis was once a noble Elemental Forge guardian, embodying the transformative and nurturing essence of fire. Its original form glowed with radiant golden flames, representing creation, renewal, and controlled power. However, after its fall, Ignaraxis transformed into a monstrous figure of destruction.   Its body became a towering colossus of molten obsidian, with rivers of lava coursing through jagged cracks in its form. Wreathed in crimson and black flames, Ignaraxis emanates an aura of oppression and malevolence. Its fiery eyes burn with an intense hatred for balance and those who seek to preserve it.

Domain and Influence

After its fall, Ignaraxis’s dominion in the Plane of Fire transformed into a hellscape of devastation. The elemental harmony was replaced with ceaseless volcanic eruptions, rivers of molten rock, and choking clouds of ash.   On the Material Plane, Ignaraxis’s influence manifests through Volcanic eruptions and wildfires of seemingly unnatural origin. Cults of fire-worshippers spreading chaos in its name. Infernal pacts that grant mortals destructive powers at the cost of their souls.

Realm - The Infernal Pyrestorm

A realm of unending flames and chaos, the Infernal Pyrestorm is a volcanic expanse filled with rivers of lava, towering magma spires, and fiery maelstroms. At its core lies the Crucible of Ruin, Ignaraxis’s throne, surrounded by infernal flames that burn with the anguish of those consumed by its wrath.   Once a disciplined and noble guardian, Ignaraxis grew resentful of the constraints imposed by balance. It sought to wield fire’s power without limitation, envisioning a world forged anew through flames. Ignaraxis craves dominance, believing fire is the supreme force of creation and destruction. Its alliances with demonic entities further warped its motivations, making it a puppet of malevolent forces. Its ultimate goal is to escape its imprisonment, ignite an eternal inferno across all planes, and reshape existence in its image.

Legends and History

The Fall

During the Eclipse Epoch, Ignaraxis’s resentment toward balance made it vulnerable to the Voidbane’s whispers. Promised unrestrained power and dominion, it betrayed the Elemental Phalanx and succumbed to corruption.

The Corruption of Obsidros

Ignaraxis’s flames consumed Obsidros when the Terra Guardian attempted to reason with its former comrade. Broken and desperate, Obsidros made a fiendish pact to escape death, sealing its own fall into corruption.

Apotheosis Convergence

In the climactic battle, Ignaraxis fought alongside Obsidros against the Luminar Wardens, Astrum Seraphim, and loyal members of the Elemental Phalanx. Its unrelenting flames nearly overwhelmed the defenders, but the combined power of celestial artifacts and a sacred purification ritual subdued Ignaraxis, sealing it within the Infernal Pyrestorm.   Ignaraxis commanded an army forged from corrupted fire, fueled by infernal pacts. The Blazeborn Legions, Elemental warriors of ash and flame, their regenerative abilities make them nearly impossible to extinguish. Pyrelords, commanders imbued with Ignaraxis’s destructive will, capable of summoning infernal maelstroms. Infernal Constructs, twisted amalgamations of molten iron and cursed fire, used as siege engines.

Current Status

Ignaraxis was destroyed in the final days of the Eclipse Epoch, its form torn asunder by divine light and primordial force. Yet its annihilation did not erase its legacy. Ashes of its essence still smolder across the planes—whispers of its will embedded in cursed relics, scorched ruins, and the hearts of those who crave unchecked power. Cults devoted to the Ember Tyrant persist, seeking to reforge what was lost. Infernal echoes twist the minds of fire elementals and mortals alike, igniting flames of rebellion, destruction, and madness. Even shattered, Ignaraxis remains a threat—its embers fanned by those who long to see the world burn again.
