Description

The Blade of Whispers is a curved longsword forged from silvershard steel veined with glowing green runes. The blade hums faintly in silence and rings sharply when drawn in defense of the land. Its grip is wrapped in moss-treated hide, and the guard resembles intertwining vines. When unsheathed in sacred groves or places of imbalance, the blade resonates with the voices of spirits long passed.

Powers

Whispers of the Land: Grants its bearer the ability to hear the voices of nature spirits and ancestral guides.
Revelation of Truths: The blade glows when deception, corruption, or spiritual imbalance is near.
Spirit Bond: Can only be wielded by one who respects the balance of Tarnith. Attempts by the unworthy result in soul scarring or madness.
Fey Resonance: In the presence of Fey creatures or within Fey-touched realms, the blade sharpens and may cut through magical illusions or glamours.

Myth & Legacy

Wielded by King Caedryn the Verdant caeduring Tarnith’s golden age, the blade helped unify the realm and seal the sacred pacts with the Feywild. It was cast into the Mists of Avalonreach upon Caedryn’s death to prevent its corruption.
It is now said to be guarded by the enigmatic The Green Knight, awaiting the return of a worthy soul. Finding it is believed to signal the rebirth of Tarnith’s unity—and the next great test of the Sacred Cycle.

Current Status

Lost — Location believed to be deep within Avalonreach, a glade that straddles the boundary of the Feywild.
