Overview

The Singing Shell Spire is a towering, spiraled sea-stack rising from the surf near Tarnith’s western coast. Shaped by centuries of tides and magically resonant minerals, the spire emits faint, melodic tones when struck by waves — like the hum of a deep horn or the whisper of a conch shell. No two days bring the same song.   It is revered as a place of oceanic communion and is sometimes called the “Voice of the Deep.”

Mystical Properties

  • Tide-Song Rituals: Druids of the Veil perform rites at the spire during high tide, using its resonance to amplify water-based spells.
  • Echo Memory: The tones it produces are believed to carry messages from the ocean spirits. Certain melodies are said to predict storms or omens.
  • Coral Warding: Local legends hold that no sea monster will pass within a mile of the spire when its hum reaches a certain pitch.
  • Cultural Role

Young druids are sometimes sent to meditate beside the spire for a night as a test of attunement to the sea’s voice. Ship captains have been known to adjust their routes based on the spire’s tones, believing them to reflect the ocean’s mood.
