Gods of Old

Brunsathewa, was god before current set of deities. Ancient and alien, he slumbers waiting to be awoken again to purge the world in darkness, madness, and chaos. Woe betides the world if he were ever to return………
Brunsathewa, the Old One to whom Ynnek, the Kobold Warlock, has pledged allegiance, exudes an alien and maddening influence that defies mortal comprehension. Its essence, a formless and cosmic entity, exists beyond the boundaries of conventional reality. It whispers eldritch secrets into the minds of its followers, driving them to the brink of sanity with revelations that unravel the very fabric of their understanding.
The presence of Brunsathewa is accompanied by a dissonant hum that resonates in the ears of those who dare to commune with it. Its influence manifests in twisted visions, where glimpses of incomprehensible realms and non-Euclidean landscapes haunt the minds of its devotees. The mere proximity to its cosmic aura can induce madness, as the boundaries between reason and insanity blur in the wake of its unearthly power.
Those who forge pacts with Brunsathewa find themselves gifted with eldritch abilities that defy the natural order. Warped shadows dance at their command, and whispers of forgotten knowledge echo in their thoughts. The Old One's influence seeps into the very soul of its followers, imbuing them with a sense of purpose and dedication that transcends mortal understanding.
Yet, the gifts bestowed by Brunsathewa come at a cost. The warlock, Ynnek, and others who serve the Old One find their minds teetering on the edge of madness, caught in a delicate balance between enlightenment and the abyss. The more they delve into the mysteries of the cult and the slumbering god, the deeper they are ensnared by the maddening allure of Brunsathewa's eldritch presence.
Beware those who bear the mark of the Old One, for they are conduits of a cosmic force that defies reason and sanity. The alien influence of Brunsathewa casts a long and ominous shadow, leaving those who encounter it forever changed, their perception of reality forever altered by the touch of the incomprehensible.
