Wailing Winds: Cries of the fallen echo on the breeze at dusk and dawn.
Twisted Paths: Trails within the forest shift subtly, confusing even seasoned trackers.
Spirit Tangle: Ghosts, wraiths, and remnants of corrupted Thornkin dwell within.
Final Stand of the Rebellion: The rebellion’s necromantic ritual to sever Tarnith from the Feywild was stopped here.
Sacrifice of the Flame: Several members of the The Knights of the Emerald Flame perished stopping the rite, binding their spirits to the grove to hold back corruption.
Sanctification Failure: Despite countless attempts, no druidic rite has fully cleansed the forest.
The Mourning Thorns: A cluster of corrupted Thornkin, believed to still worship the rebellion’s cause.
Shadebound Warden: A spectral knight who guards the ruins of the final ritual site—some believe it to be Sir Cael Blackthorn, bound by undeath to judge intruders.

Cursed Forest / Site of Historical TragedyOverview
Once a sacred woodland rich in seasonal magic, the Forest of Nightshade became forever twisted by the final battle of the Shadowthorn Rebellion. Now, it is a haunted glade of gloom-rooted trees and spectral winds. The spirits of fallen knights and corrupted fey still linger, creating a realm where nature, memory, and wrath are entangled. Despite its dangers, the forest remains a site of reverence—and warning. The Druids of the Veil and the Knights of the Emerald Flame still perform mourning rites at its edge.Appearance
The forest is cloaked in perpetual twilight. Trees are tall and warped, their bark blackened with veins of violet luminescence. Nightshade flowers grow in unnatural abundance, their fragrance sweet and sorrowful. Faint lights drift between the branches, thought to be lost souls or fae echoes.Curses and Phenomena
