"You're far too handsome for this nonsense"

General Summary

The enormous creature in front of them bellowed in fear and anger. Unsure of what to do, the party attacked the beast, finishing it off as it attempted to flee back into the tunnels. With the way clear party me either way up a small incline into a larger room with a steep shelf. There, they encountered more stonemites, a few of which seemed no longer animate.
Jinn scrambled up a steep shelf and carefully made his way through a narrow passage which opened up into a low chamber filled with thermal pools in brilliant prismatic tones. The noises Chari heard earlier seemed to be geysers that erupted at regular intervals, showering the space with hot, acidic water. Sir Bartleby followed Jinn's path, but in so doing disturbed the moths that covered the passage walls. The space erupted in a frenzy of winged activity, showering the party in tiny scales. The group quickly dodged and sprinted their way through, until it was Emlyn's turn. The sorceress, less dexterous than her counterparts, slipped as she ran through. It was only through Jinn's quick use of the wind fan that Emlyn avoided being pelted with scalding liquid.
On the other side of the chamber another chasm opened before them. Rather than risk a second fall, Bart summoned Marley to ferry everyone across. The space ahead had a few mangy looking rodents, and deep black, honeycombed mushrooms, but little else. It opened up, however, into a beautiful space filled with crystals of all sizes, on every visible surface. The light and reflections playing off the surfaces was disorienting and mesmerizing.
Out of these prisms, however, stepped copies of themselves. The Dragon Punchers were forced to fight each other before rescuing Emlyn from the crystal prison in which she'd been trapped. The group quickly fled the chamber, lest more doubles appear.
