Session 104: Duplicates & Delving

General Summary

After all the stress and break-neck pace of the past few weeks, the party was glad to have some downtime in Jarrow. There they could focus on finding a way to bring Chari back from the leyline as well as catch up with old friends. Once inside the city they headed right for the Wilmont-Burke estate.
Emerson greeted them as enthusiastically as ever upon their arrival to the Hightown manor and invited them inside. Osdra was still not feeling entirely well, and seized upon the opportunity to lounge in bed with a good book while the others took care of business throughout the city.
Micah and Cornelius spent their time in the stacks at Blackview Academy. The young hero provided the wizard with a prescient (and thorough) warning of the dangers within the library. While they searched for more information on the leylines the pair was accosted by denizens of the archives.
Bart and Jinn took the opportunity to run errands and generally have a breather. The Knight of Cups bought a ring with an eye towards the future. He and Jinn also visited the Iron Hills to pick up the armor and spear he'd commissioned of Irador's remains. Errands completed, the two stopped off at a pub for afternoon drinks and candid conversation. Following this, a deeply inebriated Bart took a joyride on Marley over the heads of Jarrow's citizens.
Jinn, for his part, elected to walk back to the manor. This choice would prove disastrous.
