The Savage
(a.k.a. Blood-bringer, Lord of Rage, The Vigilant Wrath)
The Savage is an unusual god, representative of unusual races – monsterous in nature, beasts, orcs, and gnolls. As a deity, The Savage has never fit in well with the pantheon surrounding him. He has few long-term alliances with any other major deity; he does hold, however, an impressive number of grudges and hatreds towards the other gods. He despises most of the other gods.
There is no true “church of The Savage.” His faithful do not belong to – and have no desire to create – a unified church, a chain of command, or any other trappings often associated with other religions. Followers of The Savage do not think or prepare; they act and react, preferably with great passion and intensity. They do not pursue a long-term agenda or pursue some far-off goal. Instead, they seek immediate gratification and the opportunity to offer blood and violence to their god.

Holy Books & Codes
The Saga of Bloodfall.
Many Aboriginals cannot read, and see no value in learning. The holy words of The Savage are thus preserved and spread through the oral tradition. Young acolytes entering The Savage’s service are taught to learn The Saga by rote, and they receive cruel punishment each time they make a mistake or forget an element of a verse. The Saga is, in many ways, a combination of orc battle chants, poems, and prose, all recited in an old dialect of the giantish language. Only shamans and priests of The Savage may recite lengthy passages of The Saga, although any worshiper is encouraged to memorize and recite their favorite sections.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The Savage does not see fit to reveal his will to anyone, and thus omens from The Savage are extremely rare. He prefers to keep his worshipers and enemies confused, guessing as to his intentions.
Tenets of Faith
Kill, Maim, Destroy, and Loot
His clerics are expected to fight, kill, and take the spoils of victory from their defeated foes. In the eyes of The Savage, there is nothing more important in life than the bringing of death and slaughter in victory.
The Savage Follows Only His Own Law
They follow no laws, save their own, an unwritten set of rules called "The Code of The Aboriginal". Most of its pretty simple, don't steal, don't kill (for no reason), don't attack people for no reason (although there seems to be a big list of exceptions).
You Pay the Blood Price
They have Blood Price. You either pay enough in goods for your crimes, or you bleed enough that the victim is satisfied.
