Stormseat

Stormseat is the fortress city that the Clergy of Storms, those who worship Arius the Human's God of Storms, it is located high in the southern mountain ranges of the Kingdom but unmarked on any maps known only to the highest echelons of the Clergy. While not the political capital of the Kingdom of Heimdale it is the center of it's religious power. Ruled over by the Stormherald and the Clergy of the over arching worship of Arius.
During the time of Occupation by the Empire Stormseat was the last bastion for the faithful of Arius, as the Cult of Ky'Rry was forced upon the populace of what was to become the Kingdom of Heimdale. While the Clergy still insist that the true capital of Humankind should be at Stormseat it wasn't until the mass uprising that had started in Heimdale and spread through the human populated territories that Stormseat reached out from it's place in the high mountains to try and start gaining control over the new political seat of power.
While the time of unrest between the Fall of the Empire and the Founding of the Kingdome of Heimdale there was a brief struggle between the leading families of the rebellion and the Stormherald. Eventually it was the reigning Stormherald at the time, Harfast the Vigiliant who let go of the struggle knowing that if there was to be further bickering between the new rising state head and the religioous powers of Stormseat the Empire would just spring on this weakness in the fledgling kingdom of humans to subjugate them once more.
However after nearly 400 years after the events of the Empire's Fall the Heralds have been seen trying to gain more power over the Royal Family to once again try and claim the full trues of the Kingdom's people.
