The Remnant Archipelago
The shattered ruins of what used to be a much larger landmass (whose name is lost to history). It is now a verdant, mountainous tropics (think Papua New Guinea), with some marshlands the further south one travels. On the eastern side sits the Desolocean, a preternaturally deep, still and lifeless body of water. Safe-ish water routes hug the coast of the Desolocean, but those routes are known to pirates, as well. On the western side is the Rima Airon, the border ocean.
Geography
The terrain is dominated by mountain ranges, most notably those in the Mountain Pass.
Fauna & Flora
Abundant wildlife. The eastern mountain jungles are dominated by the Khorazelen, and are home to a diverse number of plants and animals.
Biodiversity gets less intense the farther one gets from the jungles, and drops significantly the further south one goes. There is a fair amount of seals and other antarctic marine life in the southern edge of the archipelago, and not much else.

Natural Resources
Fish are plentiful, along the western coast, and are the main source of protein for the majority of Remnant (the western coast).
The Khorazelen manage to survive in the jungles, so there must be food there. Rare herbs and animal materials trade well with the outside world. The mountains hold a great deal of mineral wealth, which the Freehold of Graad is working to exploit.
