Luddgate

The capital of the Mundan Empire . Built upon the ruins of Nethysia. High tech, in a cusp of the industrial revolution sense. Some steampunk excess and aesthetic, but nothing outside the realms of nonmagical possibility.

This city has a fully-functioning electrical grid, to the point where even the most meager hovel has reliable electric lighting.   The clockwork goddess Brigh is seen by many as the patron deity of Mundus, but the city has ecumenical temples for all of the major deities of the region.

Demographics

Infrastructure

Mundan Power Station -001, known to laypeople as the Basilica of Brigh: the largest coal-burning power plant in Cadeia. It outputs enough power to provide lighting for all of Luddgate.
Aqueducts, sewer system   The shipyards in Tinker Bay are notable as the most advanced in Cadeia - but there is some debate about whether that means "the best", particularly in Insulinde. The Mundan Navy Shipyards are famous for their ironclad vessels, which are virtually uncontested in ship-to-ship combat. Aquatic torquespawn, however, are a much closer fight, and the bulk of the Navy patrols the coast of the Concatenatoptic Wastes.
