These elders apply established laws and ancestral wisdom to deliver judgments that restore balance within the society. In cases where laws do not provide a clear solution, the council relies on ancestral wisdom to guide their judgement. The aim of this system is not to punish, but to restore harmony and maintain balance within the community.
