The Antarctic Ultimatum

Awaiting a response with an embrace or a blade

After decades of war from Grekar and isolation from the Antarctic, Adam Nietzche Borowski - the Great Emperor of the Federative Parlimentary Empire of Greater Grekar - decides to finally break the self-inflicted blockade from the Antarctic and sends off a giant squadron of warships in order to break the line and deliver a vital message written by Shlenetzki Fernandez, the Supreme Commander of the SEFGA under his command.
The card is delivered on the 1st of December 2122 by the hand of its author directly to the established Antarctic Council. The 1.97 meters-tall juggernaut of a man bursting into the room with cubic, gray and robotic full-body armor glistening with rubies, obsidian and gold while carrying a flag of the Grekar Empire, reading the card out loud, demanding the surrender of Antarctica with a deadline of the 25th of December of the same year. He threatens with the total annihilation of the Antarctic population if the ultimatum is rejected and promises great prosperity if they oblige, with him leaving the letter behind as he exits the room calmly and slowly while surrounded by members of the SEFGA.

Purpose

Reestablish relations and updating the Antartic with the current situation within the rest of the globe alongside demanding its subjugation into the Grekar Empire.

The document, at first, was a private political matter which then was released to the public in the 9th of March 2123 during Adam Borowski's birthday, first as a leak in order to stain his image but then oficially released into the public on the later half of the day as to avoid any further public relation disasters regarding it.

Background

During a time of chaos and war raging across the world with thousands dying every day, Antarctica shut off all contact with the world in 2059, declaring itself a republic in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Antartic Treaty. They had grown separate and tired of the world around them, with the so-called 'people of the cold' deciding to isolate itself in order to avoid any future conflict with other nations, destroying internet lines, disrupting radio signals, barring ships from entry, and a million other things in order to preserve peace within their fragile continent, hoping that the extreme conditions and lack of resources would make it extremely hard to invade and also unappealing to any possible attackers.
However, this would not last for long. After the victory of the Grekar Empire in the Grekar-Mongol War in 2120, Adam Nietzche Borowski - the Great Emperor of the aforementioned empire - decided to command Shelentzki Fernandez, the top commanding officer of its special operations, to write a letter to the isolationists within the frozen, with him demanding to "make it clear that we are ready to shed two billion more lifes for total unification". And so, under his orders, Shlenetzki began to write the letter.

History

It marked a before and after on the state of Humanity as a civilization; it would no longer be divided for no purpose other than "we don't agree to it" or variations of it, but rather would be joined together in a single force able to face any threat that may come its way in total unison, either for better or worse of the individual and of the species.

The Antarctic Ultimatum

To the people of the Antarctic Continent:

I, Supreme Commander of the Special Elite Forces of the Grekar Army Shlenetzki Fernandez, on behalf of the Federative Parlimentary Empire of Greater Grekar and with support of Great Emperor Lord Adam Nietzche Borowski, demand the immediate surrender of all your territories and sovereignity over them alongside all autonomy and authority of your established organizations, entities and individuals over to the Greater Grekar Empire. The world is a much diferent place than it was before; on the 1st of December of 2059 AD, there was a recorded 122 independent political entities officialy recognized as legitimate countries by the United Nations. Today, 63 years later on the 1st of December of 2122 AD, there is only two fully independent states and there is no longer a United Nations, as it was officialy dissolved in the 22nd of June 2108 AD at 1200 hours, and by the 25th of December we expect for there to only be one independent state within the world, otherwise lethal - apocalyptical - consequences will ensue.
The act of surrender at the very moment is an act of mercy upon your people. The Grekar Army is a veteran and seasoned force, its technology far surpasing any that its opponents had over the last two decades and two years. Our forces are in the tens of millions, blood stains our swords and suits, the heads of thousands rised on pikes on mountains of millions dead. We have faced the murderous heat of the Sahara, the frozen ruthlesness of Siberia, the death whispers of the Himalayas, the creeping jungles of the Amazon. A frozen wasteland is no task we haven't beaten into submission yet.
Thus, I set the deadline of the 25th of December of 2122 AD at 00:00 hours. If an unconditional and unanimous surrender is not provided by the aforementioned date, then the white landscapes of the Antarctic will forever be stained with the blood of millions. The cities will be reduced to mere atoms, the bases destroyed into oblivion, fortresses made into dust, white ice into a red cocktail.
If an unconditional and unanimous surrender is provided by that date, then the Federative Parlimentary Empire of Greater Grekar guarantees the safety of every innocent citizen of the Antarctic and will assure the peaceful unification and integration into the rest of the Empire, assuring economic, cultural and social growth at a never-seen-before rate. Cooperation is needed in order to prosper between the Republic of Antarctica and the Grekar Empire, and by consequence, all of Humanity.
We await your response with either an embrace or a blade.

The text was largely condemned for its highly agressive nature and unnecesary descriptions of how Grekar would respond in order of non-compliance, but Shlenetzki Fernandez alongside Adam Borowski and Kacper Nowak (Omega General/Generalissimo of the Grekar Armed Forces) justified it as a means of securing the acceptance of the letter and establishing the severity of the situation upon the people of the Antarctic.

The letter was in high discussion between Adam Borowski and Shlenetzki Fernandez for a few good months, both of them going back and forth with what should be on the letter, why not and why yes, etc and etc. Their arguments over it eventualy led to the letter being ratified the 1st of December 2122 instead of the 1st of December 2120, the actual date on which it was planned to be sent off, which turned out to be right after the Grekar-Mongol War.

After the leak into the general public, the general reception of Shlenetzki Fernandez greatly deteriorated, many that once saw him as a war hero now perceived him as nothing more than a bloodthirsty warmonger, with many of the military personnel protesting the letter but only against him, with Adam Borowski generally left outside of the equation due to larger concerns of possible repercusions coming from the Great Emperor, as he was famous for delivering extremely inhumane and torturous punishments to those he deemed had broken beyond repair their moral compass, many believing that he would use that excuse upon them and send them off to fates many deemed "worse than death".
