Aphaeleon

Arch Seraph of Temperance

The most contemplative and peaceful of the Arch Seraphs, Aphaeleon is the patron of monks and clerics. Formerly an angel of the Myria, god of joy, he has taken a different path and is now prayed to by those who seek freedom from their worldly desires. Aphaeleon helps his followers resist their addictions and temptations. Those who follow his ways find great mental and spiritual strength that enables them to endure.   Aphaeleon appears as a bearded old man floating in a sphere of golden light. The sight of him alone brings a sense of inner peace.
The Arch Seraph of Temperance holds sway over the domains of peace and spirituality. A patron of monks, clerics, and peacemakers, Aphaelon is honored by those who seek enlightenment. Once a servant of Myria, goddess of joy, he has since decided there is little joy to be found in Etharis, and he has therefore taken to becoming the saint of those who seek spiritual balance. Those who follow his ways find freedom from addictions and worldly desires. He is opposed by the Arch Daemon of Hedonism, Sitri.
