Haggaert Tobodi

The ever-cheerful Chief of Wildlife Control at Strixhaven is thought of as an unorthodox and alarming figure by many who meet him, but those who get to know him are quick to discover a man of boundless compassion and zest for life, a true ally to all nature's creatures.
His body and face carry the scars of a long adventuring career, but having recognized his advancing age, he decided years ago to retire from his dangerous life and start a family. Now, with his wife passed on and his daughter following in his footsteps as a proud and brave warrior, he left his home behind to spend his remaining days in the embrace of nature.
Then, some time back, Blaggaert, his twin brother that Haggaert had long thought was dead, found him in the wilderness and suggested coming to work for the multiverse's biggest magical university, as the school's standing Head of Wildlife - a brusque and surly individual - was about to retire.
Today, Haggaert leads a content existence caring for the creatures that live on the tiny planet, in its many and varied ecosystems, and takes great enjoyment in helping to teach anyone who will listen all about maintaining the balance of the natural world.
