Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight is an island off the coast of Britain.
Once a barony of Carisbrooke Castle considered part of Hampshire in Logres, it was conquered by Cyning Cerdic of Wessex in 497, a year after mainland Hampshire.
The island is currently under the rule of Ætheling Cynric of Wessex.
